Pudding.
Need I say more?
Ok maybe a little more…If you’re anything life me, indulging in a creamy, sweet dessert is a guilty pleasure that should happen almost everyday. With a sweet tooth like no other and a desire to have more healthy foods in my lifestyle, I started playing with Chocolate Avocado Pudding recipes to get my weekly dose of chocolatey goodness.
A few experiments in the kitchen and out came this decadent, filling bowl of yumminess in the form of Chocolate Avocado pudding. It comes together in a flash and kept well in the fridge for a few days – so if ya like it, make a bigger batch for the entire week! Avocado’s silky texture combined with the nutrients like Vitamins K, C and Potassium make it a match made in heaven.
I’ve already made a few batches of this and there are many more in site! I could also see turning this into frozen pops for the summer. The possibilities are endless! Try it out for yourself…
Chocolate Avocado Pudding
Ingredients
– 1-2 Avocados
– 1/4 – 1/2 cup Unsweetened Coco Powder (I used dark because I’m a sucka for it)
– 1/4 cup Pure Maple Syrup
– 1 Tsp vanilla
– A splash of almond milk depending on your desired consistency
Directions
1.) In a blender or food processor, put the avocado and let it ride until it’s nice and smooth.
2.) Add the rest of the ingredients and combine until everything is mixed well together.
3.) Chill for a few hours or eat at room temp – both are delicious!
Keep any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge.
Enjoy!
