FriYAYYY!!! It’s been a whirlwind of a week with a few changes at work and some go go go moments! Keeping busy is what I love so I can’t complain and it makes me enjoy weekends that much more. Before that happens, here are a few things that I couldn’t get enough of this week for Friday Favs.
If you couldn’t tell by this picture of an almost empty bag, I love this granola! I picked up this Cranberry Vanilla Granola a few months ago when we stopped in at the Shiloh General Store for lunch. I don’t know why, but the past few weeks I’ve been eating it more and more. It’s simple, sweet and crunchy in a way that brings life to yogurt or just is plain delicious with some almond milk. If you ever in the area, pick some up, you’ll love it!
Ok ok ok…I’m sure that everyone and their mother have seen this video by now. And let’s face it, it is sooo funny, positive and uplifting! I can’t get enough of her infectious laugh and all of the good things coming out of it. It’s been a bit of a busy and long week so every single time I watch this, my spirit is inspired immediately!
Over the past week or so, Claire Diaz-Ortiz has been releasing a few videos each day from experts, authors and all around inspiring people! Breaking the sessions into 3 main sections (Purpose, Productivity, and Profit), they are packed full of good information. Here are a few of my favorite highlights so far:
– Don’t be ashamed of your dreams. Find what you love and do everything in your power to make it happen <-- Seems so simple yet I find myself forgetting passions sometimes when I get caught up in the day-to-day. - Jon Acuff
– Think & Believe you ARE REMARKABLE <- Love this! It's so important to believe in yourself, if you don't who will? - Allison Fallon
– If you’re saying yes to one thing, then you are saying no to something else and visa verse <-- YES! I'm a huge yes person and it can often lead to an unintential priority shift or putting too much on my plate, so it's always a good reminder - Erik Fisher
One down side from this summit…ok it’s really not a down side…I now have a list of 50 (give or take a few) books that I want to read! Many of the speakers are authors and have written some amazing books that I’m now just discovering. It’ll keep me busy that’s for sure!
Last week was nothing but gloomy skies, chilly air and rain. Talk about a bummer! This week, however, was sunny, warm and pretty perfect! It makes life so much easier and helps with my motivation and attitude. I’m planning on soaking up some more of it with a hike and a lot of outdoor time this weekend!
What are some of your favorite things of the week?
Any plans for the weekend?
