Hey hey hey! It’s been a while! I’m finding that I’m going through phases like no other lately. Somedays all I want to do it write and other, well, words are simply not my friend…the struggles of a creative, right? Anywhooooo….another phase of mine recently includes these Green Smoothies. They are super simple, a great way to use up some extra limes in the fridge and, the best part, they almost taste like a mojito! 🙂
As part of my continuous journey to try new things and live a healthier life, I’ve been playing around with all sorts of smoothie flavor combos. I’m always down for a fruit and spinach one but started expanding my horizons just a bit. And other another note, this is probably one of the most vibrant smoothies I’ve ever seen – not filter needed here! So try it out and tell me what you think!
– 1 Banana
– Juice of a lime
– a handful or two of spinach
– 4-7 mint leaves
– 1 tsp flax seeds
– 1 tsp chia seeds
– Enough water to get everything moving
Blend it all together and enjoy!
