This recipe made me a very happy girl the other day! I’ve made many granola recipes in the past but I think this Peanut Butter Granola jumped to the top of the list. It’s simple, crunchy and delicious…not to mention some of my favorite ingredients. I mean come on – Peanut Butter? check. Maple Syrup? check. What more could a girl want.
(This stuff is the best! Smoothies, brownies, you name it, Peanut Powder will give it just about of peanut butter flava!)
I’ve been on a yogurt kick lately and this complements it perfectly every morning. Mixed with a few berries, it tastes just like a good ol’ PB &J. I could eat almost anything with peanut butter on it so I’m sure I’ll have no problem eating this with a little milk, on top of a think smoothie or maybe even ice cream.
Whatever you choose to do with it, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. Check it out:
Peanut Butter Granola
2 cups old fashion rolled oats
2 tablespoon crunchy peanut butter
2 tablespoon maple syrup
1 tablespoon Jif Peanut Powder
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1.) Melt together the peanut butter and maple syrup.
2.) In a separate bowl combine the oats, Jif Peanut Powder, cinnamon and vanilla.
3.) Stir the peanut butter mixture into the oat mixture until everything is well combined.
4.) Spread in an even layer across a baking sheet.
5.) In a 325 degree oven, bake for 12-15 minutes until they have browned slightly.
6.) Take out and let cool for at least 10 minutes so that the granola can harden a little.
7.) Pour over yogurt, ice cream, or add a little milk and enjoy!
