Welcome to heaven on earth for anyone who loves fresh fruits & veggies, baked goods, fun crafts and wonderful local people! The Piedmont Triad Farmers Market is one of my favorite places to spend a Saturday morning during the summer. It’s full of delicious, local and seasonal produce that I can’t get enough of.
Usually, I end up having eyes bigger than my stomach and buy way more food than I can eat throughout the week. However, this past Saturday, I practiced some strong will power and only grabbed a few items. I came home with some of the sweetest blueberries I’ve even tasted, fresh tomatoes, lettuce, a plant for my patio and flowers for Mother’s Day.
The colors that you’ll find at any Farmer’s Market blow me away every time I’m there. Some of the fruit even looked to pretty to eat 🙂
